Dermal filler treatment at Novella is planned around anatomy and proportion—not a trend, a single feature, or a predetermined number of syringes.
Balance before product
Age-related change may involve bone, fat, skin, ligament support, movement, and tissue position. Adding volume without understanding those relationships can create heaviness rather than harmony.
Dr. No considers the area that concerns you and the structures around it. When filler is appropriate, product selection, placement, and amount are tailored conservatively. When it is not the right tool, that is part of the consultation too.
Assess profile, projection, contour, soft tissue, movement, and the face from multiple angles.
Identify which change may improve overall balance—and which requests may add volume without benefit.
Conservative treatment can be reassessed after swelling settles before deciding what, if anything, comes next.
The Novella method
Review health history, prior injections, reactions, medications, dental plans, and what you hope to preserve.
Evaluate the face at rest and in motion, from the front, profile, and oblique views.
Discuss the proposed product, location, benefits, alternatives, limitations, and material risks.
If appropriate, Dr. No performs treatment and provides individualized aftercare and reassessment guidance.
Safety information
Common reactions include swelling, bruising, redness, pain, tenderness, itching, firmness, and lumps. Infection, delayed reactions, asymmetry, skin injury, scarring, and other complications can occur. Unintentional injection into a blood vessel is rare but can cause serious harm, including tissue damage, vision abnormalities or blindness, and stroke. Individual risks, alternatives, and emergency instructions must be reviewed before treatment.
